Laura Greenwood has studied at the University of Huddersfield since 2009 as a Surface Designer for Fashion and Interiors. She specialises within the interiors market creating original and innovative surface solutions.

Laura develops in-depth research into material testing and investigation incorporating the latest trend and colour ideas to create material combinations.

​

A further interest is within the trend forecasting industry , With a passion for colour Laura enjoys detailed research and producing visual concept boards to communicate ideas.

​

Laura is currently working towards her Final Degree show in June where she will create a series of samples for floor, wall and furniture applications as part of the Human Surface collection.

​

Industry experience includes Muraspec, Ege Carpets, Leeuwenburgh Veneers, and a 12-month Internship at INTERFACE.


Exhibited at the Surface Design Show in 2011 after winning a competition in collaboration with Leeuwenburgh Veneers and exhibited with the University in 2013.



One of three short-listed for the ege competition brief and for the society of Dyers and Colourists International Colour Competition.



In order to develop career opportunities, Laura is currently seeking a graduate position within the design industry.
